Microbial systems, infection, and resistance

Research interests connect fundamental microbiology with translational questions in infectious disease.

01 · Research interest

Phage Therapy & Bacteriophage Biology

Research interest in bacteriophage propagation and phage–host interactions, including the influence of culture-derived factors under low host-cell-density conditions. The master’s thesis explored how inducing molecules and spent culture media may affect renewed phage propagation.

03 · Research interest

Antibiotic Resistance

Undergraduate research examined the prospect of E. coli isolated from raw beef samples as a potential reservoir of antibiotic resistance. Specific experimental results are not reproduced here without review of the original thesis.
